CGT Learning Throughline
A learning throughline — connecting instruction, curriculum, and community
We partner with schools and districts to align how students learn across classrooms, grade levels, and home—so that learning builds, rather than starts over, year after year.
OUR APPROACH
THE CHALLENGE
Every school has strong initiatives, dedicated teachers, thoughtful leaders, but too often, these efforts exist in isolation—instructional practices in one silo, curriculum decisions in another, and families on the outside looking in.
When these elements operate separately, learning becomes fragmented.
Students deserve coherence.
THE THROUGHLINE
We believe students learn best when there is a throughline—a coherent thread connecting what happens in the classroom to what’s built across grade levels to what families understand and support at home.
CGT Learning Throughline works with schools and districts to design that coherence. Our work is grounded in the science of how students learn and shaped by the realities of what schools actually need. Whether we’re leading professional development, supporting long-term implementation, or helping teams rethink their instructional approach, the goal is always the same: learning that accumulates rather than fragments.
What We Do
We offer flexible partnerships shaped by what your school or district needs most. Our work spans professional development, instructional coaching, curriculum review, and implementation support—always rooted in research on how students learn and designed to build lasting coherence across your system.
We don’t believe in one-day fixes. Whether it’s a single workshop or a multi-year partnership, we work alongside educators and leaders to build practices that hold up over time.
HOW WE WORK IN SCHOOLS
Professional development on literacy instruction
Half-day, full-day, or multi-session sequences for teachers and instructional coaches across all grades and content areas — reading, writing, and the literacy demands of every subject.
Parent education & engagement.
Workshops, resources, and community-building that bring families into the instructional work, so what's happening in classrooms is visible, understandable, and supportable at home.
Coaching the coach
Cohort or 1:1 work with instructional coaches on literacy and on broader instructional practices grounded in learning science — the kind that travels across a whole school.
Speaking and panels
Conferences, podcasts, and convenings on literacy instruction, teacher PD, and curriculum design grounded in learning science.
Strategic advising
For founders, school leaders, and education organizations designing literacy programs who want a thinking partner rather than a vendor.
